My favourite childhood memory!
My favourite childhood memory is when I
was a young kid, I would be so happy when my parents told me that we were going
on trip. I would be full of excitement because I knew we will go to a place
that we never have been before. As soon as my dad told me that we were going to
two different places which are Colmar Tropicale Berjaya Hill and Cameron
Highlands, I started planned on what I was going to wear and started packing
it. While my eldest brother and my parents were planning our trip by finding a
place to stay and places to visit when we reached there. Also, my mom prepared
some snacks that we can enjoy along on our way to the destination. The night
before our departure, I was really excited for this trip that I couldn’t sleep
at all because vacations with the family were always joyous.
I woke up early on that day. After placed
all the luggage in car’s trunk and ate some sandwiches for breakfast, my
brother, mom and I sat in the back seat. While my eldest brother sat in the
front seat to help my father who drove us all to the magical destination. It
was a very long trip to our first destination which is Colmar Tropicale but I
could not sit still because I was so excited. After a long trip, finally we had
arrived to Colmar Tropicale Berjaya Hills. I was so fascinated with the view.
This place is famous among locals and even foreigner due to the cold wind
breeze and a wonderful view. The first place that I visit was French Village.
Before entering the village there is a wooden bridge and a clock tower. The
interesting is it have a cuckoo bird that chimes and comes out from the clock
tower. It felt like I’m in a fairy tale. At French Village, there are many big colourful
old-fashioned castle and antique building and even a wonderful fountain. I felt
like I’m in France. Also, a very pleasant views of nature. As for me who loves
nature, I really enjoyed watching the views while breathe some fresh air.

Next,
we visited Japanese Village. Again, we were surrounded by nature and a sound of
waterfall and a Koi fish’s pond. It’s very therapeutic. Also, a rustic hut at
the centrepiece of the Japanese Garden. My mom, brother and I rent a Kimono for
a picture. I was so excited because this is my first time trying other country
traditional clothing and i get to learn on how to wear it properly. Also, we participated in Tea Ceremony. I got to learn how
to make a green tea and the proper way to drink it. It’s quite bitter but I
really enjoyed it.

Then, we continued our journey to the next destination which is Cameron
Highland. It was rough trip. The road is very winding. I felt so dizzy along
the way. After a few hours, we safely arrived at our motel. It’s so cold and I
can’t even let my foot touch the floor. After we clean ourselves, we went out for
having a dinner. After we filled our stomach, we went back to the motel and
rest. The next morning, we had Nasi Lemak Strawberi for breakfast. In the
beginning I thought it’s going to taste bad but surprisingly it’s taste so
good. It’s really a good combination between the warm from pink rices and sweet
and spicy sambal strawberi and also the crispy fried chicken.

For dessert, we ordered scones with jam and cream. After that, we went
to Boh Tea Farm. At there we enjoyed some cup of tea with mesmerizing views and
peacefulness. It’s the best feeling when I walked on small road between the tea
bushes and got to pluck some fresh tea leaves. Also, we bought some tea bag to
enjoyed at our home later. Next, we went to the Cameron Lavender Garden. There
are loads of lavender. Also, there were many of gerberas in all sorts of
colours. My brother and I decided to pick some strawberry here. While my mom
who loves flowers enjoyed every minute admiring the view there. We took as many
pictures as we could to keep as memories. I bought Lavender ice cream
eventhough it was a little bit pricey but it’s worth it.

That’s the end of our trip, after that
we went home. This is the most favourite childhood because I got learned new
things and gain new experiences. Also being with family and having a bonding
together was wonderful. I would love to be able to make this memorable trip for
my child to enjoy as well.😄
